When you are training to be a coach or even after being accredited as one you'll have one significant ally to turn to. Your accountability partner is the person to which you'll report your wins and concerns regarding your professional and your personal limitations. Being a coach is an everyday challenge that requires balance between your professional and personal path. To inspire first requires to be inspired yourself and you can count on your accountability partner to enable this form of inspiration to carry on. As time changes and your life transforms, you may find that you need the support of more than one accountability partners! There are times that even our own lives are hanging by a thread, so we may need more AP to back us up! And this is perfectly fine! Your accountability partner will help you stay on track even if you fall. Because you are destined to fall as you are destined to raise up again. When you come to terms with failure, you will also open up to success. It's a saying that most clients (even training coaches) don't get it at first! Affirmations and meditation will help you maintain balance and shift your mood in a heartbeat! That's the significant characteristic experienced coaches familiarize themselves with!  We evolve ourselves by evolving our clients. That's the main reason we need to also 'babysit' our needs so carefully in order to progress our well-being. We aren't cheerleaders and there will be days that the whole world may seem chaotic and discouraging. Having a clear and precise plan and vision for your life will also help your client to have something to look up to. Since your coaching relationship resembles a mirror, your client can easily reflect and detect if you're not speaking your truth. I would like to share with you that I have 5 accountability partners. One for each day. It fills me in with courage and determination and also, I understand that other people (people I admire and love) are struggling and facing challenges, just like I do every day. The most beautiful time is when I share my wins. It’s so important to be able to share your wins with people who can understand you and value you. All conversations are not to be done with all people. A friend cannot understand why you are heartbroken with a challenge your coaching client has. This is why for me Accountability is one of the most sacred coaching competencies that exist. Once we as coaches, feel its magic, then we can share it with our precious clients.
